MEKONG DELTA ADVENTURE - 6 Days/5 Nights

Day 1: Saigon - My Tho - Ben Tre (L)

Cruising along small creek to Mekong River estuary to Con Phung (Phoenix Island) and stop over a garden restaurant at a local house for Vietnamese lunch. The motorized boat cruises more along natural creeks and quiet village in Ben Tre Province. Visit orchards, bee - keeping farm, taste natural honey and honey wine, enjoy tropical fruit, traditional music, visit a distillery, explore the local coconut candy production process, taste candy. Trekking through the fruit plantation in Thoi Son Island, enjoy the rowing boat ride along the creeks before returning to My Tho by motorboat. Overnight at your proposed hotel My Tho.

Day 2: My Hiep - Cao Lanh – Sa Dec – Chau Doc (B/L)

Leave for Cao Lanh. On arriving at My Hiep, take the motorized boat to get into the Xeo Quit base - a former Viet Cong base. Enjoy the rowboat cruise around the swamps and the forest. Lunch. Across the Upper Mekong delta by boat to admire the charm of the river, get to Sa Dec, visit the Tu Ton flowers garden. Proceed to Chau Doc. Visit the Sam Mountain, the caved pagoda. Enjoy the sunset over the Vietnamese - Cambodian Frontier. Overnight at your proposed hotel in Chau Doc.

Day 3: Chau Doc – Ha Tien (B/L)

Take the morning boat trip to visit the floating fish farm and the floating village, the Cham weaving village. Then leave for Ha Tien. Afternoon , drive half hour to Hon Chong, visit Mui Nai beach, Thach Dong cave and walk around the fishing village. Over night at your hotel in Ha Tien.

Day 4: Ha Tien - Long Xuyen - Can Tho (B/L)

Depart for CanTho via Long Xuyen, visit the incense stick village, the Crocodile farm, Sap Mountain, Thot Not bird Sanctuary. Free at leisure in the evening. Overnight at your proposed hotel in Can Tho.

Day 5: Can Tho - Soc Trang – Can Tho (B/L)

Depart for Phung Hiep, join the boat to visit Phung Hiep floating market, small beautiful canal in the village then continue the trip to Soc Trang to visit the Batt Pagoda and Dat Sec Pagoda. Back to CanTho. Stay overnight at your hotel in Can Tho.

Day 6: Cai Rang floating market – Saigon (B/L)

In early the morning, take the boat trip to visit the Cai Rang floating market with the busy scenes of people at work. Keep cruising through the small channel system, visit the rice paper and rice noodles making villages. Experience the "monkey Bridge" in the Delta. Return to Can Tho. Drive to Saigon.
